Our Core Values:

We, the church family of Christian Life Assembly of God, agree together that the following ministry distinctives constitute an accurate statement of our core values.  This is not our statement of faith, but an affirmation of the basic assumptions on which our ministry is to built.

The Preeminence of Jesus Christ
In everything we do, our single greatest priority will always be to honor and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, the Head of the Body, who is before all things and in whom all things are held together.

Salvation through Jesus Christ Alone
Understanding that the greatest need a person has is the need for salvation from sin and its power, we will clearly and unashamedly proclaim that salvation is found in no other name but that of Jesus Christ alone.

The Promise of Holy Spirit Baptism
Convinced of the reality of the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the initial physical evidence of speaking in other tongues as a Biblical promise made to all believers, we will commit ourselves to seeing this promise fulfilled in the life of every believer.

The Infallibility of the Scriptures
The authority for our ministry comes from the Word of God, which stands as the all-sufficient rule for all that we believe and do.

The Necessity of Prayer
All that we do must have the under girding of our individual and corporate prayer support or else there can be no reason to anticipate the attending power and presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

The Importance of Family
Recognizing the importance of the family as an entity instituted by God Himself, we are committed to strengthening the spiritual lives of the whole family and equipping them to function effectively after the pattern set forth in God's Word.

The Value of Every Person
We are convinced that every person is valuable to God regardless of gender, race, appearance, and economic or social status and deserves the love and acceptance that He has given to each of us.

A No-Walls Ministry
We are called to take the Gospel to a lost world, so our challenge is to provide a balance between times when we are gathered together to be equipped for ministry and times when we are sent out to do the ministry that Jesus has commissioned every believer to do.

Two years after the founding of the Assemblies of God, members adopted 16 beliefs for the Fellowship. This list, known as the Statement of Fundamental Truths, remains virtually unchanged. Four of these beliefs are considered the major tenets of the Fellowship. They are:

1. Salvation Through Jesus Christ (John 3:3, 16, 17; Romans 10:13; Ephesians 2:8, 9)
Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. By the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, being justified by grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God, according to the hope of eternal life.
2. Baptism in the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8; 2:4; 17, 18, 38, 39)
All believers are entitled to and should ardently expect and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian Church. With it comes the enduement of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry.
3. Divine Healing for the Sick (James 5:14-16)
Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers.

4. The Second Coming of Christ (1 Thessalonians 4:14-16; 1 Corinthians 15:51, 52)
The second coming of Christ includes the rapture of the saints, which is our blessed hope, followed by the visible return of Christ with His saints to reign on earth for one thousand years.
